Manage your MFA devices through Microsoft Entra

MBSK uses Microsoft Entra ID for MFA. The portal does not enroll or manage MFA devices.

Manage your devices

  1. Open Microsoft security info (link below) while signed in to your work account.
  2. Add a phone (SMS or call), authenticator app, or security key as your primary method.
  3. Register at least one backup method so you can sign in if your phone is unavailable.
  4. Return to the Partner Portal and sign in — you will be prompted for MFA when required.

Troubleshooting

First MFA setup
On your first sign-in after approval, Entra may walk you through MFA registration. Complete that flow before returning to the portal. Use the Microsoft link above if you need to add a device later.
Lost phone or new device
Sign in to Microsoft security info from a trusted browser and update your phone number or authenticator app.
Locked out of MFA
Recover MFA access through NetID (PWM), or contact [email protected] for staff-assisted recovery.
Backup methods
Register a second phone, office phone, or hardware key in Entra so you can approve sign-in when traveling or replacing a device.
