Multi-factor authentication
Manage your MFA devices through Microsoft Entra
MBSK uses Microsoft Entra ID for MFA. The portal does not enroll or manage MFA devices.
Manage your devices
- Open Microsoft security info (link below) while signed in to your work account.
- Add a phone (SMS or call), authenticator app, or security key as your primary method.
- Register at least one backup method so you can sign in if your phone is unavailable.
- Return to the Partner Portal and sign in — you will be prompted for MFA when required.
Troubleshooting
- First MFA setup
- On your first sign-in after approval, Entra may walk you through MFA registration. Complete that flow before returning to the portal. Use the Microsoft link above if you need to add a device later.
- Lost phone or new device
- Sign in to Microsoft security info from a trusted browser and update your phone number or authenticator app.
- Locked out of MFA
- Recover MFA access through NetID (PWM), or contact [email protected] for staff-assisted recovery.
- Backup methods
- Register a second phone, office phone, or hardware key in Entra so you can approve sign-in when traveling or replacing a device.
