About MBSK Colorado partnerships

MBSK Colorado is a designated MBK Alliance Community under the Obama Foundation's My Brother's Keeper initiative — a statewide backbone organization dedicated to disrupting and dismantling cumulative adverse childhood and young adulthood experiences affecting Black and Brown communities intergenerationally.

Partner onboarding journey

  1. Apply Complete the public partner application with your organization and primary contact information.
  2. Staff review MBSK Colorado program staff review eligibility and alignment with alliance goals.
  3. Partnership agreement Approved organizations complete the MBSK Colorado Universal Partner MOU, which defines scope, responsibilities, and MBK milestone alignment.
  4. Portal access Partner admins receive credentials to manage organization data, employees, and documents here.

MBK life-course milestones

Partnerships align with the six milestones defined by the My Brother's Keeper Alliance.

  1. Entering school ready to learn
  2. Reading at grade level by 3rd grade
  3. Graduating high school ready for college and career
  4. Completing postsecondary education or training
  5. Successfully entering the workforce
  6. Keeping youth safe and providing second chances
